August blinked abit and with every blink the images became more clear. He smiled. "Alright Judas, time to test these things out..." August threw rope into a room and looked around, there he saw a cadet John Karen. A young blonde man about 18. He could see his remaining life and his name. He wrote the name and death down in the book and handed it to Judas, making it invisible except to himself and Judas. The two hid and Judas was curious, he was to die in several minutes at exactly midnight.

Minaru looked around. "Where did August go?" She kept explaining the situation onboard the ship to Beyond, as he was mostly just listening and not saying much to her. He was in a jail cell, after all.

Iscariot observed the young cadet go about his way. The cadet halted and took the rope into his hands. Tying it to the portion of the ceiling above his bed and into a noose, the cadet forced his head through the gap and paused for a moment. A single tear slid gently down his cheek as he stepped off the bed and killed himself. Iscariot took a pleasure in witnessing the death. "Well done, August..." Iscariot moaned, "you have the making of a devil."

He laughed a cruel laugh. "I really want to try this thing out more.....I have an idea, tomorrow is new recruit day, thousands come ten stay. What if less than ten stayed..." He smirked.

"This is your Gospel, August, you may plan it out as you please." Iscariot replied in his low voice. "If you wish to end those men's lives, then feel free to do so."

Though I have yet to see what this man will do, the seeds of madness are sewn heavily within him. Perhaps he will not last long...? Iscariot thought.

As they walked outside patriotic songs played and a large mass of troops ran out with a mix of excitement and fear. "Disgusting... everyone of them." August commented. The ship was covered in both balloons and obsticle courses. "ALRIGHT MEN I WANT YOU IN A LINE NOW!" He shouted. "YESSIR!" They said. "Wow whats his problem?" One young jewish boy said. It got quiet. "What was that?" "I was just sayi-" "Im sorry?" "I didnt mea-" "SHUT YOUR MOUTH BEFORE I RIP IT OFF THAT SMUG LITTLE FACE OF YOURS." It didnt help that the boy was wearing a baseball cap. "TAKE THAT HAT OFF." August commanded. "But sir I-" "NOW" "Sorry sir... I cant." "Fine, have it your way."

"You need to listen to what I say, I am your commander do you understand that?" His eyes burned through the boy's soul. "Y-yes sir." He saluted August and went on his way. August walked into his quarters and sat at his desk. He began to write on a small peice of paper.

Iscariot was somewhat surprised at August's unusual mercy. He shrugged it off, however, convinced that it was merely a lapse in August's sanity. The Nazi avoiding the death of one of the King's men... unless he plans to finish him later? Iscariot pondered. Iscariot faded into August's quarters as he was beginning to write on a small piece of paper. Iscariot looked at the paper to see what August was writing.

"Curious?" He was writing a journal. "Look... that boy... he....I wont hurt him..."

Reading the small fragments of the journal entry that he could, Iscariot let out a small, horrid chuckle. "As though I would doubt you, August." Iscariot lost interest slowly after and slowly ascended. He floated in the air, remaining limp as usual.

He finished writing. "I need to report to McCloud." He arose from his seat and knocked on Blair's door.

Sighing, Blair got up, dressed in a blue business-like suit. Despite this appearance, however, she was still the commanding officer of this ship. She opened the door as to answer August. ". . . ?"

He followed her closely. "The cadets." He smirked. "Remember those days?"

At this question, Blair couldn't help but grin. "Oh, yes. Especially when I had to stay stuck on a warship while you advanced forward in a platoon." She said, walking toward the starboard of the ship.

"What grudge? I'm actually glad. I could actually eat while sniping sneakers who tried to get passed your men." She said in a teasing manner, apparently in a good mood.

"No. Now, I'm off to bed. See you." She said while walking off to her room. After unlocking and opening her door, she lays on her bed and doesn't bother undressing.
