Everyone's different..." She yawned, and snuggled. "Not that it matters, right? If you want to celebrate Christmas instead of Hannukah someday, I'll understand..."

"I understand that I could celebrate Hannukah... Presents....but...really....I guess it doesnt matter much." He kissed her.

Minaru put her hands, curled into more paws than fists, on August's shoulders, between his actual shoulders and neck. She kissed his nose. "Bedtime..." She put her head on his chest so the top of it just barely touched his chin, and went to sleep.

August smiled and woke up. He slowly got off the bed careful not to wake her.

Minaru let out a yawn and rolled over, her hand falling on empty blankets. Her eyes jerked open and she leaned up. Her eyes were still bleary. "August?"

He turned his head. "Yes Minaru?" He smiled at her.

Good, he's still here... I was worried he left. It'd be hard to find him again in a big ship like this. "I... uh... I need to go to school. In Tokyo..." she said quietly.

He stopped for a moment. "Come with me." He led her tword a hellicopter.

"H-h-h-h-helicopter..." Minaru squeaked. "Can I just... paddle...?"

He laughed. "We are near L.A. I doubt that you can do that and live." He kissed her and buckled her in. He placed the headsets on them both and closed the doors. He belted himself in, and began to fly.

Hours had passed and they landed at an airport. The two walked out of the vehicle. "Where do you need to go?"

Still shaky from the helicopter ride, Minaru looked around. She grabbed August's hand instinctively. "Ah, are! (oh, there!)"

He wrapped hs arm around her and walked with her as he placed his hat and aviator sunglasses on.
