It is slightly messy but not by much. The walls are a tannish color and his large window is covered up by curtains. His bookshelf is full of manga and study books about L.

B crawled around the room and grabbed some jam. He sloppily ate it with his fingers but didnt get a mess on his clothing.

B smelled sugar. The ammount of sugar could mean only one thing. "Here? He is here?!" L had no idea what B looked like and B didnt know what L looked like either.
